Nishat Bagh
Nishat Bagh is a terraced Mughal garden built on the eastern side of the Dal Lake, close toSrinagar in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is the second largest Mughal garden in the Kashmir Valley. The largest in size is the Shalimar Bagh, which is also located on the bank of the Dal Lake.

Shalimar Bagh has diverse residents in terms of occupation, income levels, and religion. There is equal presence of Business Class and Salaried Class. Major Chunk of the residents in Shalimar Bagh are Punjabi Hindu, Baniya, Kayastha, Yadav and Sindhi communities. Christians, Sikhs, Muslims and Jain also constitute a part of the population.
Gulmarg
Gulmarg is a town, a hill station, a popular skiing destination and a notified area committee inBaramula district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The town is within the Himalayas and is within miles of the Line of Control between India and Pakistan.
Shikara
The shikara is a type of wooden boat found on Dal Lake and other water bodies of Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India. Shikaras are of varied sizes and are used for multiple purposes, including transportation of people. Drivers use oars having a unique spade that is made in Indiana, United States, to row the shikara. A usual shikara seats half-a-dozen people, with the driver sitting at the lower end.
